mysqli_num_rows

result->num_rows -- Gets the number of rows in a resultDescription
Procedural style:
int mysqli_num_rows ( mysqli_result result )Object oriented style (property):
class mysqli_result {int num_rows
}
Returns the number of rows in the result set.
The use of mysqli_num_rows() depends on whether you use buffered or unbuffered result sets. In case you use unbuffered resultsets mysqli_num_rows() will not correct the correct number of rows until all the rows in the result have been retrieved.
Parameters
resultProcedural style only: A result set identifier returned by mysqli_query(), mysqli_store_result() or mysqli_use_result().
Return Values
Returns number of rows in the result set.
Note: If the number of rows is greater than maximal int value, the number will be returned as a string.
